The Hotel dei Conti has been owned by the Conti family for generations. Created in 1965 by grandfather Alberto, it is currently managed by his granddaughter Elisa after being completely renovated in 2012. The hotel offers rooms equipped with all comforts, from minibar to air conditioning, and of course TV, hairdryer, and WiFi. Inside, you will find the restaurant “Il Melograno”, available by reservation for your most important lunches with dishes prepared in accordance with local tradition, or simply for a business dinner in the evening if you are a guest of the hotel.
The B&B La Taccola is located in an ancient nineteenth-century palace in the picturesque medieval village of Castelnuovo di Val di Cecina, a center with the characteristic shape of a cluster of grapes located in the heart of the Colline Metallifere (Metal Hills). Presumably starting from Etruscan origins, it was later elevated to a fortified village during the Middle Ages. The village is immersed in pristine nature, a delightful place shaded by chestnut groves.
The B&B renovation, completed in 2020, was carried out respecting the original construction and transformed the palace into an exclusive and charming residence.
